
Oven Baked Ribs

Description
Tender oven baked ribs seasoned with a homemade spice rub and topped with sweet and tangy barbecue sauce.
Ingredients
- {amount} – 3 1/2 pound rack of baby back ribs
- {amount} cup brown sugar
- {amount} teaspoons onion powder
- {amount} teaspoons garlic powder
- {amount} teaspoon dry mustard
- {amount} teaspoons salt
- {amount} teaspoon pepper
- {amount} teaspoon oregano
- {amount} teaspoons paprika
- {amount} teaspoon celery seed
- {amount} teaspoon cayenne pepper
- {amount} bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees.

Remove any membrane from the back of the ribs.

Combine brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, dry mustard, salt, pepper, oregano, paprika, celery seed, and cayenne pepper to make the spice rub.

Season ribs on both sides with the spice rub, pressing it into the meat to stick.

Wrap the ribs tightly with foil, meat side up, and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake the ribs for 2 to 3.5 hours, or until a knife easily pierces the meat.

Remove ribs from foil and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Set oven to high broil.

Brush the ribs liberally with barbecue sauce.

Broil ribs on high for 3-4 minutes until the sauce bubbles and caramelizes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
